Deep Edge Canvas by Winsor & Newton - Metric Sizes

Deep Edge Canvas from Winsor and Newton are 38mm deep canvases designed to give your paintings extra impact when hung without a frame. To provide good adhesion and prevent the sinking of colour they have two coats of primer giving the medium grained canvas material a weight of 12oz (350gsm). Made with acid free 100% cotton canvas and stapled on the reverse to give a neat appearance and allow paint to be applied on the sides. High quality stretcher bars are used to ensure good strength and durability.

They are ideal for all techniques and adequately accommodate a thick application of paint. Suitable to be used with acrylic, oil, alkyd and water mixable oil based paints.
